Sycamore II

Sycamore II is a ceramic monoprint made from 20 single photos taken one at a time while encircling this tree in a park in Shanghai China. The single photos were merged into a horizontal panorama. A photoshop filter was used to make the ends meet in a radial perspective. The sections of this piece were printed with ceramic pigments, hand colored, bisque fired, glaze fired with a transparent glaze and mounted on wood.
